Treasure of the Month of August

In the month of August I made 5.33 euros of passive income meaning 0.012 cents every minute. That is a huge step forward from last month and the next month should at least double what August managed to make. For the first time I could use paper money to visualize my progress which is great. 

The savings percentage ended up at about 64% (1465,60 euros) with the main part of my income coming from active sources - my job. I have been living really frugally and sometimes wonder if i am going too far. I feel fine with it myself but the social pressure to spend can sometimes get me thinking such thoughts.

My portfolio size on the first of August was 35580,80 euros. The cash part is still too huge to not be making money but it's getting better slowly meaning i managed to invest more than I saved this month.

Mintos

Mintos was the only source of passive income. I increased it's weight in my portfolio. Some might question how i made "only" 5.33 euros with 2000 invested but it only got to that amount towards the end of the month. The overview:

Goals (0+/4)

1. Earn at least 100 euros of passive income in total - 5.96% completed.
2. Buy (and hold) at least one non-baltic stock. - Not done yet.
3. Invest at least 10 000 euros - 44,21 % completed.
4. Read 4 books about anything investing-related. - 0.5/4.

The starting months are rather slow in terms of visible results but here comes to play a plus of P2P lending - it can show tiny but consistent returns from the very beginning which make me want to keep going and turning the returns bigger and bigger.

I started reading "Aktsiatega rikkaks saamise õpik" that would roughly translate into "Getting rich with stocks" and focuses on how to get started in the Baltic stock market or at least has been focusing on it up until the point i have reached in the book.

Currently I am looking into Apranga as the next possible stock to add into my portfolio. Also will likely increase my portfolio in Mintos to 3000 euros.

PS: If anyone is wondering why this post came out in the middle of September - that's probably going to be the pattern for the future.
